In India:
Honoured with the National Youth Award (1992) from the Government Of India, Bharam Gaurav Award from the Samast Bharam Samaj Of Gujarat State, Lifetime Achievement Award – New Delhi, Lions International Award, and many similar National and International Awards, given by different Organizations,l Governments, etc., Lion Dr Yogesh Joshi (Founder of the Saiseva.org NGO) has organized more than Five Hundred diagnostics and FREE health camps in the poor and backward areas including the Adivasi settlements in Gujarat. Especially in the Panchmahal district of Gujarat State organised FREE health camps for school children, school uniforms, and school fees were provided to needy students. Food and clothing materials like sarees and dresses were distributed for the poor and needy people in the localities. Nasha Mukti camps and blood donation camps too were organized in the areas they were needed the most. Besides these, the NGO also has organized regular health camps for eyes, heart and diabetes treatment were organized in the above-mentioned areas.
Natural Disaster help aids were distributed in the affected areas whenever a natural calamity occurred. Needy students were provided with school and college books. Free Ayurvedic Health camps, as well as Treatment & Diagnostic camps, were organized. Camps were set up to distribute free buttermilk to the thirsty people, and many such similar community welfare activities are being organized currently.In the future, we are planning to build schools and arrange for ambulance services, mobile health care, Ayurvedic clinics, physiotherapy centres, X-Ray & MRI centres and Hospitals in the backward areas where these facilities are very rare.
In The USA:
In USA, Dr Yogesh Joshi is Honoured by Indian Lions Club NJ, New Jersey, Department of Environmental Protection Bharam Samaj of NJ, BAPS Organization and many others. The Saiseva.org NGO has been functioning in the USA – New Jersey, New York & Pennsylvania states. There have been various FREE yoga camps, Ayurvedic Medical Consultation camps, Ayurvedic Yoga and Health camps conducted across many places and organized in numerous temples on a regular basis. In future, we will continue the services of a FREE health check by the expert specialist doctors and organizing other community services for those in need. Special assistance to the Indian students will be extended in the form of FREE guidance and FREE education material like books.
Saiseva.org is also involved in a number of different environmental projects as an effort to save, conserve and protect the environment.
Education
Saiseva.org is has extended the best of its services in the education sector by providing free books and uniforms to the deserving school students. We offer the best. In the Panchmahal District and the other under-developed and needy areas of Gujarat, the SaiSeva Organization has made available a number of educational facilities to the poor and needy students. The Adivasi Tribal children of Gujarat were given free books and other study material to support their development.
Besides, India, the NGO has worked hard to provide educational facilities to the deserving and needy students in the USA for their abroad education by supplying them free books and financial help in paying their fees.
Health
Saiseva.org has had a lion’s share in the various measures taken for Health & Hygiene in the Adivasi regions of Gujarat, including the Panchmahal district. It has offered free medical aid and has organized a number of Ayurvedic medical diagnostics and treatment camps in and around Gujarat. Also, various Nasha Mukti and Blood Donation camps were organized to improve the health of the people living in the under-developed areas of Gujarat.
Livelihood
The Saiseva.org has extended its service by making the poor people in Gujarat self-dependent by exposing them to a number of employment opportunities. This has made the people financially strong by earning them a good social status among other ordinary people. Besides the other employment opportunities, various self-employment programs have been conducted in and around the different areas of Gujarat to make the people aware of the different career options available for them.
The founder of the NGO, Mr Yogesh Joshi says that these services will continue all over India to improve the standard of living of the people. Also, there will be efforts taken in future to work towards the environment.
Women Empowerment
Women Empowerment is the biggest issue addressed by Sai Seva NGO. They have striven hard to open a bigger world for the women in the developing areas of Gujarat. They have set up career opportunities for the women of Gujarat and empowered them with the help of many self-help groups and small scale cottage industries for the women to work in. Due to this, the women no more need to be dependent on their husband’s, fathers or any other family members for the money they need. They have made a rapid progress and proven their strength in handling themselves and their family single-handedly, with the support extended by the NGO.
This independence and support extended to women is a big part of the women empowerment activities of the NGO.
